Well done to young Stan on his Jack Clarke Medal.....and to you Grump and all your cohorts down at EP colts.....from all the reports the youngster had an outstanding season.

Stanley was certainly a standout for us in a team that had talent but little direction.

He is a great young bloke who has come up to Perth to live, go to school and develop his football. His early season was a bit roughshod but he quickly became what can only be described as a dominant player at this level. He is likeable, easy to talk to and respectful of those trying to help him.

He will develop further and I can see him playing many games for is a post alignment era.

Congrats to Wright on winning the Jack Clarke Medal all the best to the fella in his career.

Now interesting to compare Freeze's encouraging comments about this years winner as opposed to his disgraceful disparaging remarks made on here about last years winner sight unseen too of course ...good to see Alby put the fella back in his box to with some very encouraging displays in our LEAGUE side this season!

good effort to win by 9 votes. Unfortunately for him that medal is of no value or merit to AFL selectors. Who was the last person to either win it or finish second to get drafted?

Bit of Swan phobia by some who fail to accept that a club and player can be very good at the development process and show that as maturity takes over they are a very good league player.

He was clearly the best player in colts last year as is Stan this year, albeit a bit of bias on my behalf.

The last that sensational player Adam Cockie and before that Brabazon (who was a good player but limited in his roles).

considering he is only 17 it is a great effort, he also played reserves in the last game.
playing seniors next year and not colts would be the best transition to an afl career for him, he is obviously far ahead of the junior comp - top season by young Wright.

I wrote a lengthy note but decided that I think he will play league on a regular basis in 2017 with the current reserves and colts squads.

I called for him to get a run in the league team earlier on. He found the tempo hot in his first reserves game last week and was crunched a couple of times. But he didn't bat an eyelid and showed the quality of his ball handling and lethal left foot.
