and u would know jack crap abt him or what happens in the club, as for the comment abt todays youth come and watch a colts training sesion and see the effort the boys put in, the distance the country boys travel just so they can train in the group!

Ok - dare I dip a toe into this conversation ...
One thing I know about 'colts' is that they are in love with the idea of playing in the WAFL - the gateway to the AFL and of couirse EP would appear to have a wider door due to the alignement
Dare I say as time is spent, years slip by and reality bites, this door-way is then seen to be what it is ..... more of a hinderance to some - dissapointment to others - frustration to many.

Thats not to say that other clubs have better access to the 'Big Circus' - they dont.

The WAFL/AFL curtain, when it is pulled back, shows a machine ready to pounce in many cases
But lets allow the young colts the LUXURY of dreams & fantasy and not break that bubble too soon.

I MUCH PREFER TO SEE EXCITED - COMMITED AND ENTHUSIASTIC BOYS RUNNING ONTO THE FIELD for as long as actually possible!!

Not sure where you're coming from here Hellonewman, your first few posts seem to be pretty negative against ep so not sure what the go is there.

Cads was a hard worker and the commitment he showed to the club during his suspension was quite strong. I am pretty sure I saw him at every game during that time. He was always going to be targeted after the first ban, so he should have been more disciplined. However, we again can not assume he did this intentionally.

It was a recreational substance. Something he may well have taken believing it would not impact on his footy directly or indirectly. You can not condemn him for being young.

I have never seen a player at EP that had more ability than Dean in my many decades of devotion including the greats. I am truly sad that I won't see him play for us again. I wish him well whatever he does.

No sympathy here, you can be naive & stupid once but do it again & you are a dickhead! Good riddance & when you grow up you might regret it!

I would take him at West Perth. hes a good player.

I think most Clubs would take him screemar.

To play like he did in the Grand Final when your side is continually under the pump all day and is half full of AFL players, shows what he is made of.

For his sake I hope he receives only a relatively short ban which would give hellonewman a swift kick up the RR's.

No Club deserves ex(?) supporters like hellonewman.

This is his second offence for drugs he should receive a life ban from WAFL footy!

Grump. I've been around the club long enough to know exactly how things work. Cadwalladder was lazy and only switched on when he wanted to. I have no doubt the colts do train hard, but all to no avail! How the hell are they going to progress to a reserves side full of league hopefuls and a league side full of eagles players?
