Hard fought wins in all 3 grades. The ruck dominance was the difference in the league game. Perth played well but seem short on tall timber.

Looking forward to getting some quality EP listed players back in the coming weeks in Kyle Anderson, Josh Smith, Dean Cadwallader, Brendan Lee and Gary Moss.

It will be interesting to see who drops out. IMO a few Eagles listed players should be dropped to the reserves... Karpany,Magginness and possibly Carter to name a few. Time will tell.

It was also interesting to read on another thread that East Perth were the best supported WAFL club in the country after the first 5 weeks of competition. So much for "officially dead" "there is no EP" and all that other crap coming from 90% of posters on this site. B) B)

Your avatar is a misnomer isn't it??
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

EP supporters were crowing about how good their recruiting had been.
Particularly the 5 players that played for Perth last year.
To those EP supporters on here who are hurting.
You have my respect.
Those feral clowns at the game yesterday who think EP are alive and well don't.
Particularly that glamorous grey haired old excuse for a woman with no teeth.
Repeat of 1999, there were players out there yesterday that wanted to be wearing red and black.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!
I shot the fukin sherriff!!!!

Well said Clear-View.
Have watched this so called "forum" from time to time over the years, hoping it would get better, but it's just an online anti-East Perth vigilante group, as evidenced by the response to your message.

In response to your comments and at the risk of going over old ground again, let me spell out a few things

1. This is a public forum where everyone has a right to express their views
2. There are many people on this forum who have been long time followers of WAFL footy who feel betrayed by East Perth's decision to align with the West Coast Eagles and feel that this decision has hopelessly compromised the integrity of the competition.
3. Many of these people who feel betrayed are actually loyal long standing East Perth supporters and some have chosen to cut their ties with the club.
4. These resentments have been stoked by people like Paul Johnson coming out in the media bragging about the advantages that East Perth have over their WAFL rivals because of the AFL expertise attached to the club.

Supporters of the non aligned clubs are having to stomach going to the footy and watching some of the players that their club developed as juniors playing for East Perth and Peel because they happen to be on an AFL list. You could put up an argument that the result of the game at Leederville Oval yesterday could have been different had Mcinnes, Ali Smith and the other ex perth had been playing in red and black. And Clear - Views musings about some of the Eagles players being dropped for the East Perth based players is very funny, do you honestly think the Eagles would stand for that..... Who is the boss here???

But if you guys want to continue to believe that its still the same old Royals don't let me disturb your delusion.

Well what do you expect? This is a forum of die hard WAFL fans, East Perth are basically an AFL franchise so of course there's hostility.
