I'd expect more EP players should get an opportunity at league level as the season unfolds and injuries occur at WCE. As for being premiership favourites I think they will be there abouts but far from a one horse race as many have predicted.

Well I think it was there for all to see on Sunday.

For mine the loss sits fair and square with the match committee. It was a carbon copy of last year. Went in far too big for a wet and windy day. In saying that the side is picked to appease WC so it was always going to end up with the 22 that played whether it was raining cats and dogs or fine and sunny.

Number wise this year.
First 10 rounds H&A averaged 10.4EP and 11.6WC for 8 wins 2 losses.
Last 10 rounds H&A averaged 14EP and 8WC for 8 wins and 2 losses.
2 finals 11/11 1 win 1 loss.

Heard today another handful or so are leaving.

Expect to be mirroring Peels numbers within a season or so unless some tweaks are made to the alignment. Perhaps a max of 10 AFL listed and 10 games to qualify for finals.

For the G7 clubs there will be some handy players to pick up I would say.
