don't put this on me, I did all I could for an old codger and after repeated requests for the club to respond to my & my families queries, we got blocked everytime. And we now know why that was, because the club knew all long what they were doing behind all the members backs. None of this is news of course. Is that how you treat your own members eh ??

Yes I should have got my corporate backers in from Dubai, and consulted with my mate Packer & Singleton to get this overturned at eastperth. too late now, I guess its partly my fault for not doing enough. Gee and I had all those resources too.

There are only two players I know in a clearance wrangle. First is Luke Sampey to West Perth, West Perth refusing to pay $7k which is a bit rich considering they wouldn't accept anything less than $30k for a reserves player. Think he may have reconsidered playing after the early training was too hard for him.

The other is Borrett to Perth, as far as I know a fee has been worked out. Problem is Perth want him on credit which EP are baulking at because Perth still haven't paid for the last four clearances from EP.

One or two other players were sniffing around but were priced out by their personal requests.

And how is it that you know so much about every club?
A simple explanation will suffice.

The WAFL is such a small community. It isn't hard to know someone from every club and a bit of information from someone will grease the wheels for someone else.

Every club has a few bar flys hanging around talking half truths and rubbish. When someone like Grump talks about EP you can assume it is based on truth more often than not.

The problem is that you keep moaning about it on what is basically an anti-alignment Website. You just don't give up.

There are many more East Perth Members and supporters out there who are just as disappointed as you say you are, but they don't harp on and on and on thus giving those that are anti-East Perth the opportunity to spread their hatred.

Will you be at the AGM on Sunday to voice your thoughts in front of an East Perth crowd?

All going as thought (except for WAFC). wheels to fall off as the season gets moving. WCE players wont be playing for the jumper and there will be plenty in the side. On paper better side in 2013 than WP and looked what happened.
Expect more ressies to leave before June 30th and others to seek opportunities else where in 2015.

I would just like to clarify Jardine and to an lesser extent Grump know exactly what's going on and reading their posts they are absolutely guttered.

personally I am glad they are spreading the hatred, and that is the angle I hope the club feels the most.

as for the AGM, we had just 2 board members show up at the last one, which at that point was a very important meeting given the hysteria at that time. that shows the clubs contempt for its people right there & it was a massive kick in the guts for us diehards. If we hadn't been kicked enough, that was the icing on the cake. you must have a short memory.

as for harping on about the subject, I think by doing that, I am certainly highlighting / expressing my passionate views on the subject. that is a damn sight more than anyone else is doing. I guess I will stay mute to get my point across like most EP people.

For the record I did not renew my membership, so good luck at your AGM, if anyone shows up.

Clarified Butter have I missed something. Can anyone name the last team to win a flag without assistance from AFL money. And without the assistance of AFL players in their team.
