It was a game played on free kicks which nearly destroyed a good contest and with a bit of luck Swan gets filled in early doors. I expect West Perth to bounce back and have too much pace. Only a goal out with my prediction!

I can't comment cos went home after the colts, bloody cold.

We seem to not be able to win some games and as I said in a another post seems to me that perhaps the WP players have developed some of the Billy style resilience.

Well done to our colts, lose to Swans come out and play three quarters of hard wet weather football against a team doing the same only to get to the last and to kick goals into the wind and run away from the opposition. Three 16's Modica. Miller and Oxtoby all played well for their first of many, the Tommies played their usual great game with Mr Reilly doing well around the ground. Also great to see Scott Jones return to the scene of his leg break and again take another step in his recovery an eventual AFL career.

Sounds like I was better off a the MCG yesterday rather than Joondalup. Kept an eye on the scores via phone but hard to comment having not seen or heard the game. Stats seem pretty even so I'm presuming WP used the ball better. Well done to WP.

Might head off to Etihad Stadium this afternoon to see how Wilson and Lycett go.

Well said mike ..the EP Eagles so called supporters (other than grump & chaddy who are regulars win, lose or draw) are the biggest front running, fair weather frauds of all time ..only appear after they have won a few games & go completely missing in some cases like clearview for years after a loss!

Lol BH ........ I see you've reverted to more name calling again. Obviously your strong suit.... and I thought you'd be happy today given SD win and EP loss.

Cheer up, you've had a week to get over that loss to EP.

Just for the record whether EP win or lose has nothing to do with me posting on this site or the old Footy Goss site. Initially I was told about FG after the dampier game which led me to joining and more recently I was informed about the scoreboard disgrace at basso and this site.

I get the impression you're not big on facts. More a fiction/fantasy type.

Have a great day. :cheer:

Nearly didn't go to mickey mouse oval with the way the weather was shaping.i haven't been to peel's dung hill but of all the main ovals i hate it because the breeze seems to be always seems in play.in saying that the garlics played smarter especially in the last quarter.we didn't help ourselves earlier in the game with some bad discipline gifting the munchers a goal and adam selwood's kick in to the wrong pocket in time on in the third on was a bad one.not sure why so many falcons were free around the centre line when we were kicking with the wind but just bombing it out of the backline with the wind was not smart.in the end we were outplayed and out coached.we have had a good run with successive wins so we go back to what we said several weeks ago we need to win every game which will be hard as we play claremont next week.past form won't count for any of the contenders for third and fourth.whichever team shows form from now on will deserve to make the finals.

Loved the way the fans and some WP heavies got stuck into the new WCE on the day. Good banter
