Good to see you back Grump. Is Bonomelli still at EP? If so he might be good for the odd goal or 2....start off well for EP with 4 from memory on debut, but struggled after that. Cam Davidson was used at EF primarily as a defender - colts, reserves and league. Did play forward for Collie on his return to the South West league, so who knows. 

How about Harrison Macreedie? Is he a forward? Ramsay is going to be a big loss for EP.....

Bonomelli is still on the list but as I have not been down to training, I am not sure how things are travelling. I hope to get down soon for a look see!

I think we need a more structured approach and with all due respects to Bono I am not he would be in my best forward line but that is my opinion. 

Davidson is an unknown to me and where he will play is abt where we need his abilities, I have been told by others he is a fairly good player.

Ramsay is a big loss but we have picked up Cowden and that may offset that loss. I am looking forward to seeing how thenew coach structures our mid field, lots of possessions but little effectiveness at times.

Like most clubs in the middle of the table it is all about waiting and seeing!

It would be nice to see Dittmar go up another notch and stamp his authority on the competition.

It will be good to see him develop under the new process. we have a number of mid fielders and I would see him being part of a rotation off the bench.

What about Tedesco? He could be a handy pick up.

Could be, he is described as being hard at the ball, like the other recruits who knows at this stage, pre season will show us more!

Interesting that Jayden Magro's performance in the NT did not elicit any comments.

I just read that Magro kicked a goal in each quarter and was best afield in the NTFL's win over South Freo.
Fair to say, Grump, that Jayden would be a very handy player if he decided to return to the WAFL.
Regards Liam Tedesco, if what I hear about his physical approach is true, he'll add some much-needed toughness to our side.
Not wishing to dwell on the past, but the hardness of the likes of Jeremy Barnard, Brent Cowell, Grant Holman, Devan Perry, David Swan, Andrew Waller and Rod Wheatley were pivotal to our most recent premiership success (a long while ago now).
Craig Wulff aside, I don't recall us having many players of that ilk since.  
I stand to be corrected.
 

We need hardness and toughness, but we need to make sure it is controlled and not what we get from one of our current players.

Hopefully the new coach can get what we require without the tribunal being a bit player in our season.
