I see E. Taylor is an out in your reserves, not promoted. Injured, Covid or “other”? Saw him turn it on for about 5 minutes in the last qtr of the reserves a few weeks ago against us. Very talented kid but seriously lacking in other areas required to play league football, even at this level.

No arguments there, but it was always a bit of a throw at the stumps.

Only saw the last quarter. We got murdered in the midfield. No good Jones getting the hitouts when the midfield is so pedestrian and can't get to the drop of the ball and too soft to get contested ball. Our disposal was horrid at times. We seem to be always out numbered.all over the ground..The only player that seems to have pace is Mcguire and was impressed that he at least chased. We are playing with one player short as ine of our players seems to be barely getting over the ground..Today is a realty check of how much we need to improve if we want to be a top five team.I'm not sure if we can improve much more.Hopefully Wallis can improve our midfield but unless he is quick, hard, and a decent kick we will struggle to be mediocre midfield   and  a mediocre team. We've lost three in a row.We have a easy game next week and need to win to stay in the hunt.

Very good first quarter, but poor after that and for whatever reason we do not seem to match up on them and the northern beaches league team, although it would be nice to have a team leader like Bolton, who fronts up and leads from the front week in week out.Being 2 down on the bench at the start of the last quarter was not ideal, but it was hard to believe that we were playing a team that were defeated in their previous clash at bassendean,an although today was the first game we were really poor this season, there are players like McGuire and Narrier[ who seems far too casual]who simply aren't up to this level, and the other kid who was supposedly on the AFL recruiting scouts radar, can forget about that elite level, and should concentrate on proving himself at WAFL level, and it would be nice if Jonesy held a mark or 2 around the ground.                                                     The positives were few and far between, although Fullgrabe showed that he can hold down a key defensive position, and Mehdat continually shows his aerial ability and is a good pick up,and Sebit is becoming a consistent dangerous forward,so with the return of Ramsay and Thomas baldwin who is a more than handy crumber, and the inclusion of Wallis who showed a bit today in the reserves,i still believe we'll play finals

Great to see the colts win today.Bienfat Kihusa made his debut today and kicked 5 goals. What is amazing is that he is only 15 years old.Hopefully this is just a start of a great career.

The colts game was an outstanding game, both sides played it hard, fair and with very good skills at times.

Claremont are not doing as well as we would normally expect and no it ain't cos they have lost their PSA players they just as as strong this season or so it appears at the moment. Mitchell Barron was for very good, Cole and Mumme may have got more possessions ( which still seems to be the measure used by most to judge effectiveness on a football field) but Barron was the one that allowed them to run free whilst he did the grunt work in and around the stoppages, bit like Sheldrick last year.Their backline were effective above their heads but did not have much with the ground balls.

The EP boys showed a long lost charactersitic and that is they just keep going and eventually wear down the opposition, they have shown this over the last couple of games. The backs, minus Busslinger, showed great resolve and repelled many of the Tiger attacks with Soka again being a mainstay, I reckon he is developing into a key defender worth looking at, was a ruckman but seems to have ceased growing so probably stay down back. It was great to see a young player debuut and kick 5 goals, great achievement and I think we will see more of him as we go through the season. For me the best player for EP and the game was Jordyn Baker, this lad is all class not just when in possession of the ball but his running off the ball, his willingness to chase and block is bordering on elite at this level.

Great game for those who bother to come and watch live!

5 goals on debut at 15 years old…that is super impressive!!  If any of the media cared about the WAFL, that would make a great story.

What's more, 58shark, Bienfat Kihusa is only 1.69m tall according to the WAFL website.
However, being only 15 years of age, you'd expect him to add a few centimetres in height.
