i would not blame hardwick - i would blame the players. 9 goals 20 last week shot themselves in the foot. and richo retired years ago. for me what typifies richmond is their supporters. i have bad memories from attending richmond games in melbourne. their supporters are a weird bunch - they remind me of the ducky boys from the film the wanderers.

i heard joffa say once that even he finds the richmond (cheer /grog squad )scary and will not walk past them or go near them
