I too DF am looking forward to keeping an ear on the match. Noticed Perth currently have 318 Hit outs to Subiacos 279.
If Perth can show some dominance in the Ruck department, it could be a great advantage. The Disposals inside 50 and scoring shots is relatively even. Do agree about the forward line needs to functioning .I think this a Home game for Subiaco.

IMHO our fitness is the closest to $ubi's than I think we have ever been.
And their so called bigger bodied mids can be matched by ours.
My only concern is the ruck although I think if they use Sutherland Eyres is in good form to match him.
And our forwards need to function.
I'm looking forward to it with expectation.

If we play like last week we will see how much fight is in the dog...

If you play like last week?
How was that?
Don't worry about the fight in the dog.
If we come to play you may have to earn some kicks.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!

BC good to see an unchanged team and from the interchange list Clark, Heal and Hoskins are certainties and given the forecast, I'd keep Leach in as he's a real hard nut and would be suited to the forecast conditions. Good that the game is on TV as I'm crook as a dog and wont make it.

Good toss to win, poor old D' s couldn't take a trick with the weather poored down when they had the wind then the wind looked like it switched ends in the last. That being said we absolutely dominated the game, yes we got the frees but we were first to the ball all day as shown by the tackle count with Perth chasing us all day. Kept the game plan simple no Hollywood shite and Dela was bog by the length of the straight. Just a word on the oval havent seen a ground that wet since the last time Perth beat us in a storm at Lathlain but the fact that the council has the stormwater discharging on the outer wing flowing onto the ground is a disgrace. Well done to Clang on his 150 the team did him proud.

No disrespect to Perth but that resembled man against boys. We were too big, too fast, too skilful and too bloody good. Based on that, I think the result could have been even greater in dry weather as the rain turned it into a slog but I guess we'll never know. Dela was fantastic, Kitch, Horse, Harry Marsh, Borch, Waters all excellent. Impressed with Perth's endeavour and attack on the ball carrier but for mine weren't good enough. It was obvious in the last our superior fitness kept us running on as evidenced by 9 scoring shots to 1 against the wind. Just on the umps, tough job doing it in those sort of conditions but I thought the deliberate out of bounds decisions were ridiculous.

Congrats on the win boys not saying the result would have been different but we lost Cory Byrne in the first 5 minutes of the match and he was looking good early, then lost Jarred Bell before half time. In those conditions being two players down is massive.
