From last nights AGM, still some doubt about Chris Phelan for next year with him considering an employment opportunity in Victoria at the moment, if he stays in WA he will continue with Subi.
Brad Stevenson , Matthew and David Ehlers all losses as studying next year.
Kyal Horsley definitely going around again and a possibility of Scott Worthington also returning to the club in 2019.
From financial point of view a loss of $308,257 was declared. New major sponsor being lined up shortly.

Bugger...that's a decent loss. I noticed in the annual report Bones stated we still had net assets of $3.6m but losses of that magnitude are not sustainable that's for sure. Just wait for all the jackals on here to start circling. The bogans and jerker supporters will be like flies around a sheep's dags with a loss like that.

How can a club go through undefeated, win all three GFs lose $308,257?

Obviously on field success doesn't necessarily translate into financial success.....case in point West Perth played in a GF only a couple of weeks after going into administration. It's not a great result I admit but hopefully it'll get turned around pretty quickly.

True BC , the club is looking for every way to be sustainable in the future but it doesnt look to be an easy task.

I am certain they mis managged the end of the Subiaco seats; also, as people have mentioned previously, 'Westernunderwriters' pulled the plug.

AR...no they didn't mis-manage the AFL seats deal at Subi Oval. What we had was a downturn in the economy and end of the mining boom which meant less was spent on corporate hospitality by business. WCE and Freo had a dramatic drop off in sales of corporate packages as well so Subi ended up in competition with the 2 AFL heavy weights. The last few years of the seats deal saw losses which resulted in the club handing back some seats to the WAFC on AFL game days that they couldn't sell. QBE honoured their sponsorship this year but we'll need a new primary sponsor going forward. According to Jim who went to the AGM, an announcement on that is imminent.
