Good to see EF give Subi an easy nudge back into competitive footy today....I could mention Subi's higher free kick count was central to EF inept showing....but being the good sort I am..... I won't....

pretty good effort by the boy against an undermanned Sharks considering only 2 games in 5 weeks. Dela, Kitch, Josh Deluca and Horse all fantastic. Jordy Lockyer again very solid...Zac Clarke was good but no Griffin after half time made it easier for him. I thought Jacob Miller was terrific and took a big leap forward today in cementing his place. Schoey not happy with the third qtr and gave the boys a spray at 3/4 time...our conversion after half time was pretty ordinary notwithstanding blustery conditions when we missed several absolute sodas from directly in front and only 20 or so meters out. Ben Newton looked to have hurt his jaw or similar and didn't reappear after 1/4 time which is a worry as he's only just came back from injury. EF were a bit disappointing in terms of effort...it shouldn't matter how many of your big names are missing...the guys on the park still need to put in and that didn't happen for much of the game. I also question Wiley's defensive game plan. He had numbers behind the ball all day to stop Subi from scoring but they still had it inside 50 70 something times with 45 scoring shots. Obviously his game plan didn't work but he didn't appear to mix things up all that much. anyway, a good hit out ahead of the feral eagles next week.

Any chance Subi can loan out a spare ruckman to EF....if Griffen is injured the club is short of a few.....actually all of them....Fletch come home mate

jesus wept 'freezin' we only just got a ruckman ourselves after the best part of a decade. Hard luck today. Think of 1985, it should help you.

I shouldn't grizzle about our inaccurate kicking too much eh freez?….19.26 isn't quite as bad as 7.26

Ark when did Rix play for you boys?....would be more than happy to take De LaHunty off your hands to be EF number 1 ruckman.....Subi's inaccuracy saved EF from a 150 pt hiding BC....spitting chips you guys lost the plot in front of goal....now Wiley continues for another week.....FMD

Freezin: I think Rix played around the 2010-11 era from memory, time does fly when your playing ruck-rovers in the ruck position for years on end. McDougall and Stockley also did their bit for us particularly against EP; but, as you know, that only stresses our point about good ruckman further -- we would not have beaten the royals alignment side without them.

10 to go now remember the WAFC have shortened the season by 2 games.

Is it obvious to everyone that the 18game season is a precursor to a stand alone eagles reserves and a 10 team comp with everyone playing each other twice? Seems pretty bvipus tome.
