how do you figure FART will only get better? 70% of the side have been together all year from an AFL preseason, H&A games and now finals. in the WAFL

Oh dear! ........ every forum needs a resident troll.

After seagull jr's banishment, you obviously needed to step up.

ps next post, can you explain your forum name ie how many boots did you get to the head? It may help others to understand.

BC the thing is that Peel side that played yesterday hadn't been together for majority of the season like that well settled SF side....if they had wouldnt they be sitting above Subi in games won/loss on the ladder?....sounds like they are unbeatable?....SF have had a settled core of 15 odd players all season with no other distractions to help gel.....if Peel had had a core of 15 regular AFL guys playing majority of the season in the WAFL,one would think Subi would of played SF yesterday due to Peel getting the bye, by finishing top of the table....thus my assumption that Peel side will stay the same now for the rest of the finals....getting better each game thru some consistency of player selection.

disagree freez....14 of yesterdays Peel side spend all day six days a week together and have trained, co-mingled, socialised and in some cases even lived together all year. it's not as though 14 blokes were plucked off the street and given FART jumpers....what, do you reckon they had to introduce themselves to each other before the game?

Why then did Peel finish 3rd on the table if all these Freo guys know each other so well then?........still confused as to why SF semi professionals had the stronger legs at the end of the game over Peel's professionals, considering those SF boys worked 40 hr weeks.....and how in the hell were those Freo's prima donnas harder at the ball when the game was there to be won...when they are Freo players wearing another clubs jumper?....what were the SF players wearing the SF jumpers doing?

Agree DG, Ainsworth was very very good in the ressies, great over head, reads the play like a book, fearless and a lovely left foot disposal, will go high in the draft. Was sitting in front of his old man who said he's already had 11 interviews and 6 clubs are chasing him hard, but he particularly wants to go east which is great, like his old man said he would hate to see him in purple or yellow and blue. Melbourne, Saints, Pies Hawks all in the frame.

But when you look at the difference between the ressies and league games with regards to the pace and body size, it's a big ask for the kid to step straight in to a big final against AFL blokes, but I could see him maybe playing at FF to release Stevo to go and help down back if needs be.

Great effort by the ressies who didn't use the ball well early and butchered many scoring ops with poor inside 50 disposals. But sheer hard work in the second half got them over the line ... only just against a very skilled and fast Claremont team. Souths next week which is a daunting task.
