Outer,

It was a pretty good game, in the last qtr both sides were knackered due to the heat and were in slow motion. Sokol in the 3rd had a purple patch and from a WP perspective but absolute lay down maser's there were 2 x monumental **** ups by the maggots. One was Kietel was blatantly held trying to get up to gather the ball about 15m out directly in front of the maggot, there was only him and a $ubi defender with his jumper out stretched and the kick was not given. In the 3rd a WP defender was running out of defence and was bumped by a $ubi player, the ball was dislodged and the maggot gave it holding the ball which was one of Sokol's goals.

That effectively was the difference between the two sides.

I guess the "maggots" have finally woken up to the Joondy staging and ducking for free kicks tactics that saw them top the free kick tallys last year and have started to even things up. Not too even though as you still won the free kick count.

Keitel kicked 4 so our backs are still struggling to contain the oppositions big bodied forward but a great effort by the re-jigged forward line.

Peelmantle next week followed by the Feral scum. Given Freo's totally embarrassing performance against Port they will be making wholesale changes next week so expect to see a number of seasoned big bodied AFL players dropped back to Peelmantle which will make them a very difficult proposition. Just waiting to see what bullshite trick they will play to try and get the game moved to their home ground at Subi.?

although the ressies lost it was good to see Scott Hancock got through ok and had 17 touches. Cockie continues to push up with 27 and I also noticed Bogensperger played this week and had it 25 times....some real competition for the league midfield spots.

How do you guys feel about the unusual start time? (12.05). Obviously to fit in with the AFL telecasts. Probably will be a bit difficult for people involved in Saturday morning junior sport to get to the game on time.
