yep..agree freez...hopefully Boges and Walters will get a crack as it could be we'll see a few retirements and blokes struggling to keep their spots in the midfield. in particular Brett Robinson and Mahoney will be under the pump. what we really need is a ruckman so hoping the club is talking to guys recently delisted like Mitch Clarke, Hannath etc.

It depends on what happens with the rest of our list. I've only ever seen him play in EP games against Subi which would be only a handful of times so I'm not particularly qualified to speak on his credentials, but I expect he'll play a significant majority if not all of his games in the league side.

I meant he adds depth in the sense that he won't be in our top 3 midfielders but will be in the midfield rotation and has got something to add there, not depth in the sense of playing reserves.

The great thing is he's still improving as a player given his unique background, and our club certainly knows how to get the best out of blokes.

Agree Mudlark, tagging could be an option. Would go with Hoskins first though.

I think I have seen all of Corey's games and have followed him from his junior days. He just hasn't been able to get any instinct for the game back. His disposal is always frenetic and he would not be a first choice player in my opinion. He brings effort and a good attitude perhaps tagging might simplify things for him and could work. I wish him well.

Thanks for that Larry. Certainly that was the impression I got when watching him a couple of times that he was just struggling to regain that instinct for the game. I have heard though like you said that effort and attitude is a big strong point.

There did seem to be games this year where he was getting there with being able to find the ball a lot again though. Had a few high 20s and a 33 touches for EP league. Hopefully with 2017 being his third year back in footy, things might continue to improve and click to the point where he can be a role playing mid for our league team.

Peoples Premiers my arse, it was a pleasure watching $ubi get dicked after the past and no doubt future $$$ pain they are going to cause

not a lot of noise coming form the club in relation to new recruits or players departing...other than a baseballer and a couple of Z graders from EF I guess the two best recruits we can hope for at this stage will be the return of Halligan and Scotty Hancock...both quality players who should make a difference.

.....pretty sure the names of Menagola and Krakouer within the WAFL ranks deserve more than a Z grading mate?.....still scratching my head why Subi signed both those boys and in all honesty why those two think they are gonna get a game at Subi

freez...their surnames could be Dangerfield and Rioli for all I care but agree, if they both struggled to get a game in EF's league team then not sure what value they will add to Subi....

If I was to play devil's advocate to that view, the only argument I can make is that Menegola is only 19 years old and maybe the club is hoping that in the long-term he will follow the same late blooming trend of his brother.
