That Bogundean plonker did give us some laughs with his unbelievably idiotic comments during what was an uninspiring game.

We started ok but had trouble finding the two big sticks 3.6 to 0.1. Our defence was terrific, Jordy, Jackson, Latham, Twomes and Broughts dominated. Kitch and Horse made their own arrangements with great assistance from Phez and Hoskins. Only criticism was our inability to hit up targets, lost count of the number of times we turned the ball over when under little or no pressure, fortunately our backs pressure ensured that Swans coughed it up continuously.

Up forward Shep was in great form, his contested marking was sensational especially when much of the time he was up against Notte who is one of the best contested marks in the league but Sheps strength was the key, Clang chipped in with 3 and did well around the ground but He and Bradley were monstered in the hit outs by Young Yukich who looks like a real prospect, but that has happened nearly every week so no real effect on the outcome. The other young Swans lad that was really impressive was Logue, big left footer with terrific skills and poise for an 18 yo, expect he will be high on the afl recruiters lists.

Garcia could have had a day out if he had kicked straight but that's his job to kick goals and he failed to do that, maybe one more chance then we might see Waters given a chance. I was surprised that Boges wasn't given a chance, was the perfect chance to give Phez a rest as I think he needs one. all the other mids have had week or two off recently to freshen up.

The game plodded on in the second qtr very ordinary footy but we picked up in the second half with 10.9 (still inaccurate) to 4.1, but I suppose when you have 33 scoring shots to 9 you cant complain too much, we dominated possessions were edged out in the marks tackles & hitouts but Swans were forced to chip around their back 50 for long periods as we locked the ball in and being the chasing team their tackle count would be higher. Amazingly, surprisingly we were just on the negative side of the free kick count, that was such a shock.

Spot on with that summary SS. Was hoping we could keep them to their lowest score ever against us but they got a few in the last qpr and passed that one.
Logue is definitely in the sights of the Afl recruiters as well as Liam Ryan who was very well held.
Had a bit of a look at Bogensperger in the twos and only downside is some of his ball use. Walters must also be knocking the door for another opportunity too. Rhys Waters probably needs another run before he is ready?
Looking forward to having Dela back soon so we can at least get close in the ruck contests, but Wheeler and Bradley are working hard around the ground.
