yes mate..I took it that way but in all seriousness you were on the money as well. we tend to forget just how dominant the hawks have been and some very good players have missed out because of it. case in point, Shoenmakers hasn't played a lot with the exception of last year...he'd be a first 22 certainty at just about every other club in the comp but has to take a back seat to Gunston, Roughie when he was up and about and so on....so there's no shame in not getting a crack at hawthorn over the last 10 years.

Well done to Menagola on finally getting his AFL debut...great to see him have a good game as well.....3rd time lucky.....gutted he left EF to play for Subi...but in this day in age dont blame the kid one iota......fingers crossed Sam plays a few more for Geelong this year and in the future.....

Yes great news for the lad, another product of the EF junior production line and got his chance to shine as a midfielder of top class in a very strong team at Subi and now doing the same at another very strong club. Imagine lining up in your first AFL game along side blokes like Selwood, Dangerfield, Bartel, Harry Taylor etc etc etc etc etc. lets hope hid body can stand up to the rigors of AFL.
