With the reserves match cancelled and now not being played, at least Subiaco will be awarded 2 points.

did anyone see the surface at ANZ Stadium tonight where Australia played Greece in a soccer international? It was twice as bad as Leederville today with dips all over the ground and not just a centre square re-laid and they still went ahead with the game....FMD....

Look on the bright side...at least a few spectators were spared a cold miserable couple of hours freezing their balls off sitting in that refridgerated grandstand :P

Dockers officials thought their players were at risk. Well now they're at a much greater risk having to face a fired up Adam Cockie who has been forced to wait an extra 24 hours for his weekly purge.

they are perfectly welcome to play in another competition anytime they wish. You would not think it was a winter sport, prone, therefore to being played in the rain; when, irrespective of whether the Town of Vincent has maintained the ground, the playing conditions can became dodgy in the middle of a game itself.

WAG the Subi ressies sit 4th with 6 wins and Peel sit dead last with 1 win, so pretty clear who would be expected to win, nothing guaranteed but you have to feel the Subi ressies have been ripped off. Could be the difference in making the finals or not with EF & SD breathing down our necks, both with better percentages as well.

DW have you forgotten what it's like in the crumbling concrete jungle that is Subiaco oval? Like they did in the last couple of years of Subi playing there, spectators will most likely be confined to the northern side of the ground sitting in the shadows all game. But on the bright side we will be able to see the scoreboard.

Apparently on hearing this news report, George RR Martin has been inspired to write a new series of books called "Game of Princesses" based on the short and totally uninspiring history of the management, officials and players of the Fremantle and Peel football clubs. Key to the story is the ever so scary "Curse of Leederville" where if any of the princesses ballet slippers touch the vile & critically damaged surface of the oval they could be turned into ....... real footballers ...... heaven forbid!!
