I think mzungu was probably the difference between the two sides. When it came to the crunch he was still running strong providing a lot of drive. At the end of the day we lost that's the way it goes but to be honest I was happy they had those blokes in, a few more of them would've been nice. Good way to see how our younger and fringe boys stack up, I thought they did very well

Agree DG, quite impressed with young Bryan, he has some class about him, was cool under pressure reads the game well and has good disposal, could see him move into the mids next season. Yarran & Ryan are really dangerous up forward if they get some reasonable supply which wasn't the case on sunday, Ryan could have had 3 but uncharacteristically butchered a couple of chances. Once we get some of the injured players back we will be back on track. I think we only had 8 or 9 of last years GF team on the paddock the last 3 or 4 weeks. Dela, Twoemy, Robbo, Halligan, Lockyer, Waters, Kennedy to name a few will make a huge difference as they come back in during the remainder of the season. Spoke to Dela Sunday and he's a certainty for the Sharks game, not sure on the others. Need Lockyer and Twoemy down back to support all the youngsters who have been toiling away manfully but they are quite inexperienced. With Dela back we should see Heal move back into defence where he has been in great form in the absence of Lockyer.

The game against the Gummies should be an absolute belter after the shellacking they gave us, the boys should be highly motivated.

yes, a forward line boasting Dela, Clanger, Halligan, Yarran, Ryan, Waters, Shep and so on will be very hard to match up on.

Bryan was impressive. He reminds me of maybe Ben Keevers - or even Bret Hutchinson?

I also noticed Schowey isolated Broughton down at full forward for extended periods. he'd be very hard to match up on as a one-on-one given he's so versatile and gifted...a good move for mine.

Yeah normally would be a good move but with so many inexperienced defenders I would have had him down there generalling the backs, the boys made a few howlers that let in a couple of easy ones for the crabs which was crucial in the end. Needed him to be doing Twoemys normal role, with his elite kicking we would have provided better opportunities for the forwards.
