You can add Hamish Sheppard to the possibles to have a crack in the league side this week as he kicked 6 I think in half of Reserves footy on the weekend. He was the big number 50 for anyone that was there to see the Ressie's game. He looks a hell of a lot bigger than when he was on Freo's list. Plenty of Country footy and Gym work I think since his delisting.

He be handy 198cm can ruck & play both ends played a couple of years vfl & down south recently

Would love to see the boy get a run v Bogundean who have a number of quality talls on their list.

Forwards were ok last week against a Joondy seconds team, Sokol looks like a find and if this bloke can hold down FF or CHF plus pinch hit in the ruck we then have more options to run Clang and Dela through that rotation as well. Need the ability for Clang to go back and cover any opposition tall forwards like the swans boys and the ex Carlton lad at the Gummies. Lockyer has done a sensational job at CHB but the really tall guys might find him out.

Well that's interesting news. Hamish would be the nephew of 1973 premiership player Alan Shepheard.
It's great he is having another crack after an initial disappointing time at the TFKAEP

I wonder if Hamish has done a full pre season with Subi or has he just come on board since Grimley departed for Essendon?How many points does Hamish cost,given that he was once in the AFL system?Final question,is Scafidi training.Talented youngster who missed last season with injury.Maybe somebody in the know like BuddyBoy might be able to answer my questions.

I assume Grimley would have been at least a 10 point player so that can trade off any points for Sheppard. Really keen to see the boy play Saturday against the Ducks, hopefully in the league.

He was only recruited once grimley was gone. Must have been a pretty good offer too given that he was in the middle of a pre season as playing coach of the AMR Hawks. Saw him play a swfl game towards the end of last season and he has some genuine size about him.

Tbh I wasn't that impressed with Grimley on the weekend, sure he took some good grabs & presented himself but his kicking is shit & he makes some dumb decisions & the side he played against would be lucky to beat the ferals or peel

So much for that laughable comment from the $cumi official that local boys they have "invested in" Bestry & Creeper would get first dibs after Grimley left ....about as believable as the twuckie's claim that $cumi wouldnt want compensation for Grimley!!
