I understand he had off field issues last season so if that's sorted out he should be more focused on his footy. he was heading for a 60-70 goal season then went very cold, but played a blinder in the big dance.

Broughton is best attacking off the half back with an occasional run in the mids, we get back big Stocks next year so the rucks are looking pretty good with Bestry & Madut to back up the big fella, that will allow Clang and Dela to be KPP, plus we also get Stevo back from injury so he may be an option at FF, he's played there on a few occasions. I don't think we'll struggle up forward with Deluca, Halligan, Dela, Yazz, plus we got plenty of scoring from the mids and if we can entice TDL back that would be icing on the cake, he was a 60+ goal forward the year he was drafted. There were rumours that Robbo & Twomey make hang up the boots, any news on that front? Twomey could easily play FF for a few more years, with Broughton back he plays the same sweeper role at Twomey so that could release him forward. backline looks super solid again, Dec Jackson will slip seamlessly into Rumbers spot, I think he will really step up given that FB is his for mthe keeping, big physical player with genuine pace.

a few good younguns coming through as well SS...Bill Fethers, Garcia and Rhysey Waters should be up and about too. all in all we may lose a few quality players in Rumba, Mena maybe Robbo, Yaz a chance but with a few coming off injury and a couple of recruits..we should be ok. what chance Crowley do you reckon?

Only a rumor I heard from another supporter so I hope it's untrue. No idea why.

BC he's put himself out there for any AFL club to consider so if no one picks him up we may have a chance of getting him back, he would be quite valuable providing some real physical grunt and mongrel in the mids, no need to use him as a tagger better to let him expand his game, he can kick a goal and has a big tank. Not sure what the points would be for him as he was allocated to Subi in the local draft in '03 or '04 and played in the '04 flag team, would he still be a 10/12 point player? If so I'd prefer we don't pick him up and use those points on a couple of 6 point SANFL/VFL mid 20's guys along the lines of Kitchin, but as you've said we have plenty of good lads in the 2's and borderline league that would walk into many WAFL clubs best 22.

I don't disagree with what you're saying re Crowley SS...he might get offered a 1 year deal over east although it seems the game has shifted away from the run with negator as evidenced by the Dangerfield/Fyfe match up earlier this year. Coaches are rolling the dice by saying both premium mids are going to get plenty of it but backing theirs to get more then yours and hurting the opp more. Even Selwood at West Coast didn't play much of a tagging role this year when he was on the park so maybe there's no place for Crowley in today's game likewise.

Any player recruited from over east will be a 10 point player even if they have played under 10 league games.

Ok thanks Mr A, in that case I'd like to see the club pass on Crowley, if he doesn't go back east, he would be far more useful going to a club that needs hard experienced players like the D's.

It's not Subi's fault it's the WAFC for allowing to continue to function the way they do without changing the rules.
Other Clubs can't pay players outside the system, they simply don't have the money they can hide outside the system.
Look at SubĂ's Profit and Loss, their playing list, and given that their turnover is twice any other Club tell me that their expenses are all outside football and true and correct.
It is about time the bullshit stopped.
It is corruption of the highest order.

Our books are open for inspection, FFS.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!

SD...every WAFL club was given the opportunity to sell seats at AFL games...it's just that Subi enjoy having social premises there which obviously gives them an advantage. you can't blame them for that.
