i also read somewhere Dela was staying as well...I guess we'll just have to wait and see. on another note, how good would it be to get Greg Broughton back? I've not seen or heard anything but just speculating. Imagine him in maroon and gold running off the half backline and through the midfield next year.

DG I read in the Worst that there are 3 Vic clubs looking at Mena, the Pies and D's, cant recall the 3rd, so if he passes all the physicals he's gone for sure, but not unexpected, as someone said the finest 12 game career in Subi history.

Singha commented that Boland and Locks are staying, that's a massive plus, Locks was close to BOG for mine, but he may also be looked at for another try at AFL. Yazz did his draft chances no harm at all with a great GF performance, recruiters always look at big game performances, if gets the all clear for his knee I think he'll be a late pick at best, if not I hope he continues on with us. Looking at Choppers list of lads, it's quite promising, guys like Blech would make most teams league 22, so if a couple move on he'll be back in the mix, Bestry who I see as a possible CHF if Wheels and Dela move on should improve significantly after a very solid season and a few runs in the league, same for Madut plus we should have big Stocks back from a knee plus Stevo, so, I don't see that there will be too many gaps in the list unless Wheels and or Dela move on. Dec Jackson is a no brainer to replace the great man at fullback, he has the size pace and skills to do very well at this level.

Fez is only 27 and clanger 28...so you wouldn't think either would retire just yet...unless they're looking to go to the country and pick up some big bucks.

I heard on Sunday night back at the after party that Greg Broughton had already signed on for next year. But don't quote me on it as there was a lot alcohol consumed at the time I heard the info.
