what a season this guy is having. he get's pushed forward, back and in the ruck and delivers every time. menegola, horse, yaz and co get all the plaudits and fair enough too...but to me, clanger is our most versatile asset and probably close to being our most important player. just my thoughts and would be interested in others.

I rate him BC the clash with Barrass at times was high class. Barrass will be a star in the AFL when he matures. So by that logic I think Wheeler could hold his own in the AFL. All that is on the assumption you are talking about Wheeler.

yes mate...I am. He's too old now at 27 for AFL but certainly has an impact at WAFL level.

Clancy is a guy who would be pursued by every club in the league if he became available - think that sums it up BC

Yep,fast bowler,very fast bowler!BC and others,agree with your thoughts about Clancy.I also love the skills and consistency of Chris Phelan and the leadership and footy smarts of Horse when the going gets tough.

Clanger is the ultimate warrior, the first bloke you'd take into the trenches.
Subi have not had such a good utility type player in many years, is just as good down back, up forward or on the ball, has a massive tank and when needed, a good dose of the nasties. Wortho is another .... when fit .... that gives us flexibility, has been a great defensive player but also played some great games up forward.

Yes I had heard that Clang could have carved out a pretty good cricket career at least at shield level.

Medium/fast swing bowler for the Gosnells CC, was a sniff to be picked up by the Warriors if he went on another season but went for footy.
