On paper it should be a good game as both teams appear well matched. We are in reasonable form knocking off top of the table Freo and then just falling short of 2nd placed EP so we have shown we are good enough if we can be cleaner and smarter with our disposals, especially to the forwards. Could be some rain around especially down at the Port, which we seem to play better in those conditions. Including this one there are 6 games left and we are capable of winning 4 which wont make finals but some momentum for 2025.

18yo colts midfielder. 183cm 75kg from North Beach. He's been posting good numbers in the colts so probably just giving him a sniff of the big time.

Agree SS.  I have a good feeling about this game and as you correctly point out, our recent form hasn't been too bad.  We played quite poorly for big parts of the game against the ferals and still just got pipped at the post.

My only concern for this game is their talls and our lack thereof.  Hopefully with a damp ball and playing surface, it will even things out overhead a little bit.

I thought we moved the ball well in the first half. And we tried all day. They did open us up in the last, though. Cook looked promising.

I thought we were very competitive for the first three quarters but fell away in the last. Souths seemed so much cleaner in transition where we struggled and at times when we did get a chain of kicks and handballs going, the last possession into forward 50 which is the most important was ordinary.

Schofield's best game for the year, Clark was influential, Kitch had a crack and the Hickmott's tried all day. Far too many had no impact including Snadden, Corbett, Faraone to name a few.

Also not enough forward pressure as our front 6 only laid about a dozen tackles between them.

I'm not a Schloithe fan as I think as an opposition supporter, his legacy will be tarnished to a certain extent by the ducking frees he gets but I have to say, he was sublime today and easily BOG. Season's end can't come soon enough and the club needs to think long and hard where it's going in 2025 in relation to recruits, coaching staff and player development.
