It was the worst game of football I think I have ever seen. However, we were about three goals up at half time and if we had kicked straight in the third quarter we would have won the game. Make sure you get to Leederville this Saturday.

OK, I didn't read that. Based on what he said at the break I presume he meant the best defensive footy because clearly the offensive part was deplorable.

Subi only have to kick 5-6 goals to win..
each week we give up 5 at least from turnovers and 4-5 direct shots at goal from free kicks as our defenders are on a different wavelength to the umps so that is 9-10 goals to Subi before they even start playing.

Heard on the Swans show last night that Wes Lammie will be out for 5 -6 weeks at least with a fracture in his foot. There goes our ruck!

Mikeh we have some promising younger ruckmen in the club. Namely, Blakely, Lobb and Cary. In conbination with Notte I suspect that we may be able to match it in the main. On a more positive note we are likely to get back Ames, Bennell and Casserly etc.

Looking forward to the game on Saturday with a fair degree of optimism. Certainly I hope that there will be a large contingent of Swans' supporters to help the boys get over the line at Leederville.

Bennell has been averaging 7 possies a game in the ressies so we cant expect much out of him..
hopefully Lobb plays, played SBL last year and a handful of colts games for Swan Ath and is tipped to get drafted this year..
