Going to be an interesting match between Subiaco and Claremont on the 8th May.
The game day weather around the grounds is looking fine with a day time temperature of about 22°
Apparently this being the SportFM match of the day

This will be a fascinating contest WAG and the first of at least 3 meetings between these two sides you would think. Claremont have taken all before them so far, but Subiaco will not want to lose two in a row, the last time that happened was in 2014 would you believe! I would tip the Lions at home to win a close game.

We were blown away by Souths in the second qtr last week with 7 goals to one from memory with 3 of those in red time but in fairness, losing Max and Rowan Powell early in the first didn't help. I don't expect either of those 2 to be available this week but with some luck, Litherland and/or Borchet to come back in and surely Brandon Matera can't be far away. Does the match committee give Johny Narkle a crack? I'm not sure...he's got plenty of potential but is only young so you'd think there'd be a long term plan in place. Claremont's strength in the midfield is our weakness so I expect a similar outcome as last week. Claremont should win but hey, we all dream so Subi by a goal in an upset.

I am looking forward to this game. Claremont and Subi games have always been a good and Saturdays game should be tight.
I know this should probably be under another subject but what the heck.
Livestream is fantastic. I recall people on this forum having a go at the WAFC for not matching SANFL about livestreaming the games in Perth.
I thought, fair enough.
All of a sudden most of the games are livestreamed.
How did that come about? I cannot recall seeing a post on it.
Anyway, I always got to a Subi game about halfway through the ressies game and that was my Saturday. Loved it.
Then I met a Kiwi chick and after some years she dragged me to NZ and I was starved of footy.
I am so thankful for the summaries from the boys on ozfooty, 91.3 fm for the broadcasts. the WAFL stats pages and NOW livestreaming.
Without the above I may have divorced and headed back to the mighty West!

Good to see you're still following the mighty Lions mate even though it's from afar.

Jeez our injury list just starts to become manageable then this happens. So unavailable due to injury this week looks like being Max Walters, Rowan Powell, Jordy Lockyer, Ryan Borchet, Gus Litherland, Brandon Matera and possibly Haydn Kennedy who was limping badly against Souths.

Godinoz...seems like you are safer and mask free watching the live stream from Aotearoa mate....Cindy & Ash can be a bit quick to pull the COVID trigger with their level 2 & 3 lockdowns, but compared to the Perth top dog, we certainly have it easy that's for sure.....more so in the South Island too.....rugby GF Sat night, expecting a full house at Orange Theory Stadium.....my youngest has got a gig as the match day photographer for NZ PhotoSport.....be mutiny on the bounty if the locals, went into a lockdown and didn't get their rugby fix.......
