who would have thought the democrats could cock this up so much, it really is unbelievable.

Did you hear Gareth Parker’s interview with the president of the AMAWA a little while ago, Dr Andrew Miller? I’ll start by saying he’s sounds like a very measured bloke but he spoke of there potentially being tens of thousands of cases just in WA alone, it’s like standing on a beach waiting for a tsunami.

He spoke of a 50/50 chance of schools being closed as well as mass gatherings such as football matches. He said it’s not a matter of if but when. He said a vaccine for this virus is at least 18 months away. They are preparing for a war he said.

Certainly glad I bailed out less than a week after my little FMG purchase lost the equivalent to a couple of large pizzas. Lol ,now I’m on a watch and act, think I’ll be watching a long time before I act.

Well KRudd (remember him Kevin07 gone by 11) this morning is imploring Morrison to offset the impact of the coronavirus with stimulus packages.
A few suggestions spring to mind
- lets have every school start infrastructure projects they don't need and wont be able to maintain in years to come
- lets have every house insulated with pink bats
Just a thought

Probably a good idea, swanny - after all, Australia was one of very few OECD countries which got through the GFC virtually unscathed.

BTW - Rudd is not the only one suggesting a stimulus package. Starting right at the top, with the Gov of the Reserve Bank, who has been pushing for months. But Scotty from Marketing is more interesting in preserving his mythical, and totally unrequired (except for political purposes) "surplus".

Yes we were...all thanks to John Howard's $90 billion Future Fund that Krudd could dip into at his leisure coupled with the strength of the economy at that time running surpluses compared to other countries.
