Shockingly irresponsible behaviour comparing Coal to Asbestos as a danger and health hazard.

Coal posses no immediate danger to health in the same way as Asbestos.

What would you expect from hairy armpitted activists with a single policy platform.

The Greens are environmentalist Nazis.Not only will they destroy Australia's largest export earner.We will lose over 30,000 jobs.Destroy country towns and add 25% to our power bills.I thought Denatalie was ok after that Froot loop Milne.

Despite the dangers of asbestos mining and use being known since early last century, Wittenoom was not shut down until 1966. The use of asbestos in Australia was not completely banned until 2003.

Given the impact of coal burning on the atmosphere and climate, I reckon the comparison may be a bit of a stretch, but is reasonable - as is the policy to phase out Australia's participation in coal by 2030.

It will certainly put more focus and economic emphasis on renewables, which is the only sustainable future.

One hasn't lived unless you took the billy cart to the rail line & collected coal from the track to take home for mum. I stopped doing it about 1950 with me bro.
