Just needs a stat dec from dear old mum, if she's still with us, saying she never consulted her son. If she's sadly no longer with us, then unless there's a signature on a form giving his consent then no proof exists that it's anything other than what the good senator has said. The Greens admitted pretty much straight away that they pharked up but in this case there's currently no proof against what the Senator has said, if it does exist then he's out the door quick smart.

As for Swan 42's beggared or buggered belief, 'apparently" not everyone in this world is "apparently" as smart or "apparently" as on the ball as S42, some people, bless their cotton socks, make mistakes.

Ark I heard a Political expert just talk on the radio. He said the Government can challenge the decision in the high court.Because of the unique situation. But it's no different to the two Greenies he thinks.You can't be a DS full-stop.

SS do you seriously think it is reasonable to believe that a mother and son would not discuss the possibility of applying for or obtaining a foreign country's citizenship?

And surprisingly, I've not heard any so called 'experienced' journalists ask the all important question?
One has to ask why?
Will these 3 need to be paying all that money back? The majority or at least part thereof? After all, it is tax payers money.
And if not why not!!!.
If I had claimed and taken tax payers money on what is essentially false pretences, I know what would happen to me!

None will be required to pay any of their salaries on the basis that they were doing their jobs whilst they were getting paid. In particular, if the "Warne's mum defence" succeeds one will not need to resign and at least one other will be back in the Senate.

Will be an interesting High Court case because if you read s 44 of the Const. it also says anyone who is Eligible for foreign citizenship is also in valid, that could rule out a huge number of people.
