Apparently the club has now cancelled the booking. They were under the impression it was an AGM rather than a political rally. Sanity prevails

BC either he knew that it was a Liberal Party function in which case he should have recuse himself from the Royal Commission because of the perceived bias or he should have been sacked for not being aware the nature of the function notwithstanding his comments about people he was supposed to investigate.

BC I have absolutely no intention to apologise for owning a thesaurus and using one. In fact I have two. It might suit your "born to rule" Liberal Party philosophy but it doesn't make you right.

some revelations coming out of the union royal commission...the Q'land CFMEU in particular up to some dodgy stuff including destroying 5 tonnes of documents when they realised the RC was coming for them. that's a criminal act as far as I know....then there's the official who received over $100k in house renos and never paid for them....this is starting to get interesting now eh 42?

It was a shoddy and shameful political exercise with the unfortunate deaths of 4 young workers used in a disgraceful political point scoring exercise. If Abbott had been interested in improving workplace safety he would have had a broad RC with the ability to investigste ALL WORKPLACE DEATHs. Another disgraceful eample of how out of touch Abbott was and is.
