Some interesting stuff coming to light....

Innocent until proven guilty, hope it all works out for her, but if it does go south, lets see how quickly the gutter press abandon her. 

How the press treat her won't be the interest . if proven it will be how sporting bodies and corporates do given the nature of the allegation and wokeism...will be very interesting.

This morning they said its taken 12 months to actually charge her .... WTF?! how does it take that long and how are people expected to believe this is even valid. It isn't a murder case where they need to put everything together.

Her legal teams' "abuse of process" claim relates simply to the timing of the charges since the alleged offence. They are seeking to have them dropped or downgraded. Being a taxi driver myself I know first hand how anal people can be over the fare which can be construed as harrassment of the driver. But also I know all about dodgy taxi drivers and we know what parts of the world they originate from.

Although in this case it's a complaint by a police officer who was called to attend. It's got to be pretty serious to get an officer to attend over a taxi fare. Wouldn't happen here I can tell you. A Taxi driver would have to get bashed and robbed before cops would think about coming.

Will be interesting, especially with two cops supposedly giving evidence against the tight fisted millionaire. When I lived in London years ago, was driving along Holland Park avenue and just handled my mobile phone for literally two seconds and was instantly stopped by cops in an unmarked car. They gave me a ticket and when i mentioned i wasn't actually using the phone they told me not to even think about contesting the matter. It was my word against theirs and their word was worth a lot more than mine! 

That happens here in Perth Ti Em.I took a cop to court as he was lying through his teeth about what I did and the judge could tell and threw it out. The prosecuting cop was embarrassed as he could tell the bloke was lying. It usually doesn't take much to poke holes in stories.

I am sure Kerr and her lawyers and a little baksheesh can get this thing sorted out.

It's going to cost Ms Kerr a lot more than maybe an extra £ or 2 on the meter for probably complaining the driver should have turned left instead of right a few blocks back. I'm sure she is on some pretty decent endorsements and sponsorship deals and could just about write her own cheque post retirement putting her face on brands prior to this.

Her misses might be taking over as the bread winner.

Not that unusual there as Police do not have the same independence to prosecute as they do here, everything has o be pre approved by the CPS prior to taking out a prosecution, this is a Crown Court matter ( District Court ) so it is not a trivial charge, I imagine they may have also experienced some pressure not to proceed with the charge - that was how local sports stars here operated for a long time. 

Its the racial part of it that is interesting.
