The range of topics that could be covered in this thread is so vast it beggars belief that we can still consider ourselves a first world country.

Rats, distribution, medical supplies, health facilities, mistakes (of monumental proportions) back tracking and the list could go on!

The players start at Kirrabilli House and flow down through the federal government and opposition, crosses every state border and includes most levels of state governments with the degree of ineptitude being the only point of separation. It includes many levels of business who a gouging to their collective hearts content (and being openly protected by the Morrison cohort)

I no a lot of you will disagree but I am glad I am here in WA and I am dreading the opening of the boarders just like many informed voices!

This is what you get when the person you vote for is shafted and the Knifer gets the power trip

Actually if you look around the world, Australia has done far better than most in all this, the US has been a basket case from day one, the EU is a shambles, Eastern Europe even worse, highly organised Asian countries like Japan have struggled.

Our economy is probably the healthiest in the world by far and has recovered against all the negative predictions due to federal support.

people that make comments like this have limited contact with people overseas, I have family in the UK and who live in the EU and can tell you its been a nightmare there compared to here.

Australians don't know how lucky they are.

I have a son in the UK and making a comment like this is based on what he tells me and my own investigation of what is happening here, so as much as you may think I do not know how lucky I am you have no understanding of the current political ineptitude being displayed around you especially by your poster boy Morison and his parrot!

I would add that the fish and chip shop owner would not have done much better.

It really does show that our political government has no idea abt planning for disasters and thinks that policy on the run will be ok if they self praice enough!
