No you are absolutely right DD the situation the US finds itself in has naught to do with Trump - after all he did a smashing job in between all those days of golf. Biden has had 15 minutes, he should have it completely under control by now.

DD I understand that it might not suit your pro-Trump narrative but if we are to discuss how Biden measures up as POTUS, how do you suggest we do that without comparing Biden’s performance to the performance of his predecessors, including the recently dumped Trump?

In regards to the rampant Covid numbers there is going to be a significant lag from effective measures being put in place and practiced and actually seeing the daily case numbers decline significantly. Far too early to expect a positive change - need to see how numbers are in 4 - 6 weeks

According to His Orangeness it should have "just disappeared" by now...or maybe it's still around because we didn't take his advice and inject ourselves with bleach or disinfectant. I'm surprised he didn't recommend anal sunbathing or perineum sunning where these lunatics expose their freckles to the sun to soak up the rays. It it will take many months, if not years to unravel the damage that Trump and his Trumptards have inflicted on the American people. Biden has hit the ground running been decisive and taking action on a number of fronts but in particular on Covid. Unfortunately the roll out of the vaccinations is being hampered by the fact that every state has a different method and procedure for delivering the vaccine, so there is little or no cooperation nationally, unlike Australia where ScoMo created the National cabinet with the Premiers which ain't been perfect but has certainly worked incredibly well to keep Australia at the forefront of dealing with the virus. Biden has aimed at 100 million vac's in his first 100 days, a commendable target, hopefully he achieves it or gets close. At least he has a plan and working hard towards it, something Trump never had or believed in.

This is not good news for Australia. It appears that President Biden will sign a bill in the coming days.A part of the new administration Green policy. No new oil+gas+ coal leases or exploration on public land by 2022.This is anticipated to bring 1 million job losses to the USA.

It would be very easy to declare Marshall Law and order 2 weeks stay at home except essential services.

Might be worth most world leaders and some on here having a look/listen to the recent Boyer lecture given by Andrew Forrest, check it out on ABC Iview. This guy is so far ahead of the curve with regards sustainable alternative energy.
