I thought Xi Ping banned the eating of wild animals over a month ago? Is this shit still ongoing? FFS the WHO needs to go in there and demand these sick and cruel practices be shut down immediately.

It’s costing lives and is a threat to humanity and destroyed our way of life. Are they too shit scared of China? Our world leaders need to grow a set of balls and start making demands on China. It’s not fucken good enough to sit back and do nothing.

Not only China but other parts in Asia I might add.

And the ban on these wetmarkets only being temporary is of grave concern. All our supposed leaders will need to draw a line in the sand. The question is, will they? After we all start to recover, there is going to huge far reaching ramifications/ changes that will happen. Ordinary people will need to get off their arses and become heavily involved in government policy also. The days of ordinary citizens sitting back relying on our so called leaders of doing the right thing will need to become a thing of the past and needs to stop!

If we are at war and we are, why aren’t the military forces getting heavily involved? We can’t let suspect people wander around and trying to jump borders.
As for the link to the article DD shared, the Chinese have now proved what we always knew - they are arguably the most disgusting people on earth.

The military cannot and should not be there to act as policemen (police persons). That is the police's job. Military can act as support and that is fine. I'd be concerned if they became too heavily involved. Although according to the premier yesterday, the rule book has currently been thrown out the window.
As for bloody china, they have too many answers that need giving. And that is just for starters!
Is going to take a hell of a long time for everyone to recover from all this.

Completely agree, wag.

The military should be used for logistics only - they have no training or authority in relation to law enforcement.

A couple of recent 4 Corners episodes demonstrates that.

Ok wag, so while the police force are manning the borders etc, who’s going to look after local law? Is a short term military state too hard for people to accept? Not for me, I have a family to protect, but I can do sfa with this virus.
And js,, it’s probably all very simple to you, living where you do.

That will be the police's job of ensuring people adhere to the restrictions. There is only 8 or 9 regions. It's not like 4 million. And I'm sure most people will comply. Look on the bright side, the savings being made on using less fuel in the vehicle. Am fairly certain it's against the law for the military to act as police persons. That's not their job.
And there is plenty you can do re: the virus. You just don't realise it.
There was a news report today that said WA's cases would have dropped slightly. The only thing that increased Wa's total today was the passengers from Artania. I think 9 confirmed and the others suspect.
Don't panic 58, stay strong.
No-one around rabbit flats is panicking either.

It’s not a case of panicking wag. I will go to work each day for as long as I am allowed, haven’t got into the ridiculous panic buying and practice all social rules the medicos advise. I do however have great concern not only for my family and friends, but particularly for the generation older than me. As we have seen, they are extremely vulnerable.
As for who controls the borders, we must agree to disagree and let’s just use the military in overseas wars. And as for your assessment of me panicking, you’re entitled to an opinion, be it right or wrong.
I reckon I’ve done this subject to death!!!

Can you believe this shit? Fucken pigs. Our politicians both here and around the world need to condemn China for this barbaric fetish.
