Just listening to DICK POUND , saying Japan has until May to get a 100% all clear on the Coronavirus otherwise its going to be a cancellation.

Fairly certain the Olympic games only been cancelled once before during World War 2

The Olympic flame has arrived in Japan from Greece, with the flight touching down at an airforce base in the northern part of the country. The torch relay begins on the 26th March from Fukushima.

Looking highly unlikely Australia will be participating in the Olympics. Canada just announced they are pulling their team out. Would only need a handful of other countries to pull the pin and it's bye bye Olympics in July. If cancellation is not a word in the Japanese government dictionary, just postpone until next year.

Like every other sporting event and competition around the world, it's suspended until further notice. next year would be obvious, still gives 3 years until the next one.

FMD even the National Cross Country Wrestling League (NRL) has finally suspended their season.

What I heard Monday afternoon is that IOC will delay any decision for around 1 month. It does appear Australia +Canada as said above. Have already pulled out .Looks like summer 2021.

The Neanderthal Rugby Comp only suspended because they had no other choice SS as QLD 1 of the only 2 states that play that game had closed their borders whilst the NZ team really had to get home asap as well, their boofhead chairman PVL would have kept going until the last possible player available had CV to keep their TV rights deal going!
FMD is NSW the only state that hasnt closed their borders now and they are the worst effected state (also the state with some of the worst exhibits of social isolation & quarantining eg Bondi Beach, nrl & Ruby Princess) albeit it virtually everyone else has, thus shutting their borders to those nsw cockroaches!

So effectively with all other states closing their borders, theirs are now closed?
