Lachie Neale is not an ex Swans player. He is from South Australia and played for Swans when interstate AFL listed players were farmed out across different WAFL clubs. Were you the guy that rang 6 PR the other day claiming Neale is an ex Swans player?

BC I thought Brad Hill was our best, he has shown this year (apart from the last couple of games) that form he showed at Hawthorn week in week out where he just ran himself and his opponents into the ground and his foot passing was elite, just needs to try to find Jesse somewhere, Lol.

Fyfe was brilliant the way he dragged Lachie Neale forward and exposed him on two occasions both times resulting in goals. Agree would like to see Darcy rucking allowing Lobb to spend more time forward but gee he takes some very good marks late in the game at crucial times. he is without a doubt the pick up of the off season for us.

I think Hogan has always played second fiddle to Taberner and the Dockers seemed to look for Cox or Matera in preference to Hogan. I wonder if there is an issue there or they just don't have the confidence in him yet or he is not presenting enough or is it as you say, he is getting the best defender and being double or triple teamed?

Great to see Harley getting 30 touches and kicking two goals for Peel. Fingers crossed he gets through the next two weeks of training and games and if that happens we will get the rare opportunity to see him in purple.

He is a former SDFC player regardless of where he came from and how as he pulled on a League jumper for us in 15 games.
But no he wasnt a SDFC junior from our zone.

DD...Hogan appears to be having a crack but some of his leading patterns makes it difficult for the ball carrier to hit him up. He tends to run tangents instead of heading towards the ball carrier or into open space. This could be because the Freo guys ahead of him aren't working as a team. I'm not sure who the forward coach is but they need to work on structures, blocking their immediate opponents, taking defenders away from the ball and rotating through and away from the areas of opportunity when the ball comes in. The other thing I noticed was that Brisbane had a spare more often than not in their back half which Lyon didn't react to. I think it was number 27 or similar patrolled around unchallenged quite often and when he rolled onto a Freo player someone else took his place as a spare. Freo were either out-marked or the ball was fisted to defensive areas quite a lot as a result as the ball was bombed in by the mids and the forwards were outnumbered. Lyon would have seen that but chose to keep his extra behind the ball which was good for rebound entries back into the forward 50 but made life difficult for the likes of Hogan et al.

So Perth can claim Fraser Gehrig and Sam Butler as "former Perth players" BH? Not for me I won't claim that glory for being the host club for those boys magnificent AFL careers.

Hogan looks down on confidence BC, his goal kicking when he's had set shots has been poor, he can't take a mark unless it's way up the ground and on Sunday couldn't get a kick. Hopefully he is working his butt off not just on the track and but also doing the right things in his own time away from the club because if he's not he is going to come under intense scrutiny. He is the big marquee player on big coin and he needs to pull his finger out.

DD you should contact WAFL Footyfacts and get them to remove Lachie's 15 games for Swans from their records as apparently they never happened and I was not the person that rang 6PR.

Stiff shit he played 15 games for Swans, you can't claim him to be a Swans player who has made it in the AFL, period. He was drafted by Freo from the SANFL and could have ended up at any of the WAFL clubs while he was biding his time before getting his opportunity at AFL level.

DD...I don't think they get the difference between Neale having played for Swans as opposed to him being a Swans player. David Mundy played for Subi and in fact won a flag in 2004 but I don't consider him to be a Subi player....he's a Freo Docker who just happened to be allocated to Subi when he got here.

I suppose Subi should uninvite Mundy & Crowley ditto Murphy at SF, Suban at CL, 17 Freo bloke at Peel etc to any further Premiership reunions in the future according to your logic then DD?

No one is claiming anything in regards to Lachie other than he is a former SDFC League player as was also outlined in The West on Saturday with Charlie Cameron interview where it was stated he and Neale were former team mates at Swans in 2013!
