Congrats to David on 300 AFL games next week and becoming only the second domiciled WA player to reach the milestone after the Pav. Interesting to note both aren't of WA origin but chose to stick around for their entire careers instead of going back home at some point. When he finally retires, I reckon getting to 300 games would be Mundy's second best moment after playing in a Subiaco premiership in 2004 given I can't see him getting a flag with Freo in the next year or so. Could have walked into any clubs team during his career. Possibly the best Docker there's been after Pavlich and Fyfe.

Mundy is probably the most durable and consistent performer that Freo's had, the difference between his best and worst is very small, he would be a coaches dream and like Pav & Fyfe deserves much more success than he's had or will ever get at Freo. Was only at Subi for a short time but is still very well respected and was there in 2014 for the 10 year reunion and I'm sure will happily join in future reunions, a top bloke.

Yep one of my favourite Dockers and has been a great player for the club. If he was playing in Victoria he would have got a lot more credit as a footballer. Those in the West though know how good he has been over a long period of time. 300 AFL games to go with the 20 he played at Subiaco is a magnificent effort.

Richmond and Geelong tried to lure him home a couple of times but showed what a loyal person he is. It was Mark Harvey who turned him into a midfielder and his career really took off from there. Won two games off his own boot after the siren both from about 45 to 50 metres out and just missed another after the siren from the same distance at Geelong.

Was a star in that 2013 finals series and one of the players that dragged us back into the game after half time in the 2013 GF. The two players I get most excited about with ball in hand streaming out of the middle are David Mundy and Michael Walters. Absolute class act and will finish his career as one of the clubs all time greats and a future AFL Hall of Famer.

Looked a bit wobbly there for a while but in the end the Dockers did the right thing by this champion of the club. Hopefully he can play long enough to be a part of Freo's next finals campaign.

Well done to David Mundy. Has been a great player for the club and is arguably in the top 5 Dockers players of all time.
