I have to qualify my opinion by saying that I haven't seen much of Tim English but if I were the Dockers I would strongly consider Griff Logue. He is very versatile and I was very impressed with the way he adapted to league footy at WAFL level for Swans this year. I think he provides more options to the Dockers than a specialist ruckman and I'm sure there are always other ruckman that they can pick up from lower picks in the draft.
Great article on Griffin in the West this morning. He has a very good sporting pedigree with his parents, grandparents and his uncle Andrew Vlahov.

Very true Mike about ruckmen. You look at ruckmen taken No 1 in the draft in recent times two spring to mind that both clubs would probably have chosen differently if they had their time over again. Josh Fraser at Collingwood and Mathew Kruezer at Carlton. Maybe what worked against them was being taken as No 1 draft picks the pressure was on to play them from day one so their bodies were exposed while they are still growing. Both had significant injuries.

This Logue fella sounds like he's ready to go and offers a more versatile player. If Fremantle do take Tim English I hope they are not tempted to expose him at AFL level too early. Give him a year or two in the WAFL where he will up against bigger bodies anyway while he is filling out and still growing.

I prefer Logue but if he is already taken then English is the next best as far as I'm concerned.
