I think this is a good move by Pav Anchorman. It will let him concentrate getting himself fit and ready for games without having to worry about the off field stuff. Don't know if you saw the interview on Channel 7 with him, as well as Mundy and Fyfe, he mentioned Sandilands and Spurr as possible candidates as well.

I would go for Mundy. I think he would be a natural leader and allow Fyfe to develop his game further.

Really? From the outside he seems like a pretty honest performer. Why don't supporters like him?

Voted by the players got a feeling Fyfe may get up,I'd like a dual role Mundy as his co captain.

given its a transition period from the Pav I think it'll be a co-captain set up with Fyfe and Mundy although in saying that, I'm not sure what all the hype about being a footy captain is about anyway. it's really just a token position as the leadership group as a whole assumes most of the responsibility. it's not like a cricket captain who sets fields, rotates bowlers, constantly changes game day strategies on the field etc...a footy captain tosses the coin and pretty much sfa else.

There would be a fair bit off field though BC. Media commitments and speaking engagements as well as being the face of the club.
