I don't think Ballantyne is tough either. He isn't exactly weak either.
But its is easy to have the safety blanket of the football feild & 18 TV cameras to really cloud supporters judgements about what is tough, if getting in the face of an opposition player is what people think is tough. He gets in there I will give him that. But in terms of toughness its players like the two Selwoods, Hodge, Dangerfeild etc that I think are a cut above in that area.

Having said that Ballantyne is a good footballer. And I think he has really toned down the silly and at times embarrassing antics he once did. And so he should as I think it makes him a better player. I bet someone got in his ear about this.

as for the usual dockers/eagles debate in WA, who knows for sure how many games either side will win? Look at North, we beat Sydney at the SCG and Freo in Perth, but we get flogged by Gold Coast at home. I wouldn't dare tip our next 15 games. I am looking forward to the Kangas playing the Eagles here, though I will be in Melbourne that weekend at the Ess v Rich game. Maybe go watch Freo play Bulldogs on the Sunday? Watch the bullies faithful give Ballantyne a serve

Toning down the stupid stuff..not sure about that , he's already copped a suspension this year, he had a shocker last week v Port, I guess thats his game without the stupid stuff.

Reckon a lot of players around the league have sussed him out . know he is a bit of a head case and have got the better of him mentally.
