Yes both AFL teams can start planning their end of season trips for early September. Good that it will leave some semblance of clear air for the WAFL finals.

Gee imagine if the WAFC brushed the cobwebs off their WAFL marketing purse and promoted the WAFL as the "only game in town" ............. nah your dreamin' The commissioners will all be planning their trips to the AFL prelim and grand final. Cant let the WAFL finals get in the way of that!!

Ok I've slipped the boots into Pearce this year but seems like that was a great performance by him keeping Hawkins to 2 goals and then keeping Cameron quiet late.

Encouraging signs of what Fremantle can do but where has that kind of performance and effort been hiding? Need to finish off the year with more of that and use it as a springboard for 2024.
