says it all for you, although the first one seems a bit further removed from the rumours circulating but it is hearsay,

looks positive but still reckon mid table is where you will be at seasons end!

Interesting topic,part of me does get frustrated that we can't even pick up our own players that return from the AFL like Robertson, there are other clubs that can offer more coin to him and the transfer fee to WP that helps our club financially.
The other part of me thinks apart from Keitel all our players are home grown and there is no other WAFL club that can say that, our reserves won the premiership so we do have a good crop of players coming through the system.
As far as where we finish I think 6th.

Hmmm not quite 100% sure of that Falc I can think of a couple at least you have recruited from SD- Riddoch & Yukich.
Knott, Abbott, Delaporte ex Claremont, Dzelebdzic ex SF, Foley ex SU.
Lourey, Manzone, Hamilton, O'Halloran from Vic/Interstate.
Add those above to of course Keitel ex EP.

Geez thats half a team!! They'll be getting called the new Subiaco soon.
Make that 10 as you would expect Riddock to be playing for the Wooraloo first 18 for a while.

I guess by home grown, one means born in Australia....

Leedy not sure what happened to Abbott, Dzelebdzic etc as they have ability and are still on your list as is Potente who retired last year. You blokes are in a similar position to what we were in some years back re the finances but at least you can be assured you will win more than you lose on the field unlike us!

West Perth have always had these issues and been competitive. The difference now is Monaghan is not the coach.

Players come and go as the years roll on and I don’t care if Lockyer or Seaby go to other clubs, I could list a whole heap of players that came through the West Perth structure and moved on, and I don’t give a flying fuck. If the Falcons can’t match the dollars that other clubs can pay then go. Football is a job and if another club can give you 20 grand up front and a grand a game then good luck to you, pull on another jumper and work with passion or without passion, sometimes there is no loyalty and sometimes there is. All I am interested in is the current crop of players; gee we have some up and coming talent. The colts nearly got close to the grand final and guess what; the rezzies won the grand final. There is a big heap of talent there, these blokes may not gel immediately but they will gel. I suppose there will be real good fodder for the clubs with money.
