Subes non signing isn't that great a "loss" for WP....Black and Nelson are far better mids who bleed red n blue and play for the jumper and no doubt half the coin SF are paying Subes....Subes shopped himself around for the best coin.....couple of weeks of playing in front of 1000-2000 people tops with no Freo promotion to motivate him, I reckon the real Subes will show his true colours.....shed loads of experience for sure but you can't buy passion and motivation for the cause....something Tim Kelly had for SF in spades.....

Agree with everything you said Freeze, as far as Rodda goes he moved east for work reasons, a huge loss for us being a premiership player and all, and losing Simmo is just the icing on the cake, so far not much to look forward to in 2018...

Besides EF has anyone recruited to improve - not that I can tell.

That's a very good question StT. From where I sit I'd say no given losses in the AFL draft across the board, retirements, players leaving....EF should be a lot more competitive but as it stands at the moment I can't see anyone else improving, on the contrary the other G6 will probably go backwards maybe with the exception of SF who should stay about the same with the recruitment of Suban and loss of Kelly..

So the season will come down to how EP and Peel go basically.

Yep..I reckon so...and with WCE and Freo likely to miss the AFL finals as part of their respective rebuilding phases the aligned WAFL teams could be very strong come seasons end if the WAFC don't make responsible changes to qualification rules.

So we all just hang in there as best we can and pray for a surprise or two. Exciting stuff.
