Yep..agree. a good decision by Antonio and the club as appealing would have dragged it out and taken the focus off what is the most important thing and that is the recovery of Beau. In saying that, Antonio shouldn't be forgotten as time goes by as he'll be in a bad place for quite some time and will need on-going support as well.

Absolutely outstanding by the young man and the family, he should be singled out by WP and others as to what honour and values are in a community that sadly lacks these qualities.

I detest them on the field but you have to admire the way WP goes about things off the field. Apart from throwing spoons at people of course.

A wonderful unselfish act by this young man. Everyone knows that the penalty was ridiculous and he could have easily taken the "why me" approach and appealed but he has instead gone down the path of putting the focus firmly on Beau and his recovery. Can't say enough positive things about him. I hope he does continue with his footy when he comes back next year and I'm sure the club will give him all the support he needs.

i have seen a lot of things in footy but this may well take the cake because it realyl hits the heart. Well done to West Perth, you haveh this extremely well and well done to young Mitchell you are a star
