Well the season opener v SF does not end well for us in general, I saw them v Perth last week and they didn't look too flash but apparently they had 10+ top liners out. We will be missing Nelson (broken wrist) and Brown (GF suspension-2 weeks) right off the bat.

I am confident of another good showing this season but need to get over the SF R1 hoodoo first!!!

Seva Martin, who has changed his name to Seva Mozhaev. He was actually probably ready to play on the eve of finals last year but we made a decision at club level, probably to his disgust, that it wasn’t worth the risk to get him to play two or three games in the reserves.

"He's had another whole pre-season to get himself ready and whether he plays forward or in the ruck, that's another tall that we've got and we are still hopeful that Shayne Zanetti's body will eventually get right and at 199cm he has good pace and strength, so if we get him on the track we think we have enough talls to be competitive."

That was pretty bad today Falcons, the boys look flat and just gave SF too much room, dropped marks, wild hand passes was the order of the day, the dogs did hunt in packs today with so many dogs running lose, Hams killed us today with nobody picking him up he ran around free as a bird...WTF!!

South's very clean today taking marks and kicking goals. TC must be very happy with this first hit out, Monohan on the other hand would be the opposite,

Spot on Falcon, we were terrible, dejavu from this time last year, Im sure we will bounce back otherwise we are looking at a 0-3 start with $ubi fixtures in R3.

Could have really used Nelson, why wasn't he playing?

Terrible performance, totally unaccountable, lack of effort, poorly skilled and very poorly drilled. Was little to be excited about and an insipid effort.
