Personally, the WAFC dictate that all sponsorship over $50,000 needs to go through them should be completely and utterly dismissed out of hand by ALL of the LEGITIMATE WAFL clubs. It is nothing more nor less a complete and singular attempt to ensure that all the legitimate WAFL clubs under the WAFC's thumb. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES is there any sound or reasonable rationale for the WAFC to be involved. The ability to get significant sponsorship to ensure the WAFL clubs' viability and future is threatened by this power grab from the WAFC and needs to be rejected unequivocally and unambiguously.

Further, until the WAFC rescind this directive they should be required to pay entrance fee to any WAFL fixture. Certainly there should be no more invitations to any free Presidents' lunches etc etc.
