Any relation to the bearded Neil Fotheringham that played for wp in the early 80's?

I was told its Neil's son.

Ah so his name is actually Fotheringhame (with an E at the end) his old man played for WP , P & S in his WANFL career if my memory serves me right
If he was as good as his old fella then it will be a great pickup , Fothers was a great kick

Fotheringhame played fullback for Perth in the '78 grand final. John Quartermaine missed the GF through injury and Fotheringhame came into the side. He had his hands full with Paul Arnold that day from memory.
Murray Couper also missed because of suspension. We lost our fullback and full forward in the week leading up to the match, not ideal.

Him I would comment on, played a couple of games at EP prior to the alignment and left on the assumption he was better than he actually is, at best a c grader. Failed to get many games at peel so that says a fair bit abt his worth!
