If you want to keep the player you shouldn't have to delist him in the first place and then redraft him again . Makes a mockery of the whole thing

Why even get the kids hopes up with conversations from AFL clubs and recruiters when the spots that remain open dissappear with their own f.....g listed/delisted players.
Seems the AFL teams even let their own players think they are wanted, only to find out predraft they have been dropped. Surley these things could be worked out prior to end of year meetings assesments with the players.
Wrong on so many levels and lacks respect for those giving their life years to a game now openly driven by the almighty $ ... less passion sadly
