Krakouer was a WAFL success story back in 2010.

And having him back albeit with another club is a good thing for the WAFL. At the end of the day Krakouer gets people & the media taking an interest.

Whether he has the same impact, who knows. But having him playing here rather than the SANFL or VFL is not going to hurt us, thinking on a positive note for a while. Good luck to him. People will watch with interest, that alone makes his inclusion a winner.

one thing is for sure Sacko - he'll always be rememered as a Swans GF hero by Swans supporters..

and you should be more worried about him kicking 12 against Perth, not like you blokes are a powerhouse of the WAFL :)

You should be worried about your own team blah blah blah.....

I don't worry about us anymore CheeQuee. I stopped years ago. Fact is you're very bitter. It's been quite funny reading it all to be honest over the past month or so.

You are right, he will be remembered as a premiership hero for you blokes. I was there that day and was cheering my head off in total ore of how good he was and the game was..... Let's hope then he doesn't win the flag for west this year so people don't forget his time at swans hahaha

Hmm since my return to Perth from my Long trip and times in between is seems like Krakouer is the hot topic. Gee the guy must be a legend and now our figure head and possibly future president?
My point. WP has a lot of other players and topics around besides this guy.
Ok Ok things have been a bit quiet in the off season.
Seeya at the game... V EF at shark park. Cant wait... Gee I hope Kraks is playing? SORRY

Hmmm might even be a coaching spot for him down the track...

See my last post Southerner, I cant say too much about what happened, apart from the club was quietly confident he would return, he has been up front all the way. The best way to put it is that he was trying to get the best result for his family and future and he didnt want to commit until he explored all avenues.
didn't realise WP could pay mining wages leedy?.....sounds like Kraks has taken the easy option.....I reckon working in a new field, doing something different and totally out of ones comfort zone, was probably too much for Kraks at his age......interesting to see how it pans out for WP and Kraks.....not overly convinced WP is where Kraks wants to really be......5th option for playing footy, needed to explore all avenues....sounds like a man not too sure what or where he wants to be, do or go. Good luck to the fella, must be a huge come down coming from a huge club like Collingwood to a smaller club like WP.
Freeze,

You seem like an intelligent fella, we cant pay mining wages, but the mining companies can  He will be working in a city based mining liaison role and the club secured employment for his missus. It dumbfounds me that you blokes cant get a grasp of the fact that this would be a massive cross road in his life, seeking the best possible deal (that he is comfortable with) and decisions havent been taken lightly. I have no doubt he does not bleed red & blue but give it a couple of months and our culture will get a hold of him, that I can guarantee !

Bill will not put him above any of our players,we most likely wont see him play League footy until the Swans game, he said himself that he is targeting a return for that fixture.

Whitfords wont be happy, Parker thought he had him playing down there..

good to see Billy was in line with my information about the funding taking time to come through and Andrew and his family not being happy with that :)

"My understanding of the situation is that the jobs that we had in the pipeline for him all along were just taking a little longer to come to fruition than everyone had hoped, including Andrew and his family," Monaghan said.

"These jobs have now got certain start dates and are locked in with contracts which are done and dusted. It was more a case of ticking all the boxes to get them happening.

"Even though we can assist people in getting jobs, at the end of the days a lot of the time they are big companies who have to justify to human resources why they employ people, and there's a whole range of laws to stop putting blokes into jobs without the right qualifications.

"There was a fair bit of work to be done in the background and it all just took a little longer for it to all be finalised, but it's done now, he has got an employer, we have given him a football home and we hope that everyone down the track will get great reward out of all of that."

Is Parker the one responsible for Marcus Adams now being at WP MO?

not sure, probably a fair chance..
he can play but was riddled with injuries at Swans and seemed to lose a bit of mobility..
