I don’t mind going down to Mandurah, it’s always cold or raining, that’s what football is all about hey. Fantastic curry pies at the bakery in the Mandurah forum shopping centre. Pissed down on the way down there, pissed down during the game, pissed down on the way home. Picked up a couple of Kebabs on the way home for the wife and me in Thornlie, very average kebabs I must say. I watched this guy hap has idly slap charcoaled to buggery meat with a bit of onion, minuscule cheese, one slice of tomato, four ton of lettuce, four tone of barbeque sauce, four ton of mayonnaise on a under done four inch wrap and he had the audacity to hand over the kebabs’ and say, enjoy your kebabs my friend. I got home enthralled by West Perth’s win and jaded with the kebabs knowing that my wife will tell me to stick the kebabs up my arse, guess what, it was worse. She threw the kebab in the bin and forced me to make cheese and tomato toasted sandwiches which she enjoyed. I had a few beers, heated up the mongrel kebab in the microwave and said to myself, thanks Mandurah for your curry pie, it was very nice on a cold rainy day. Kebabs, over rated garbage unless your pissed.Keep well all.

That’s a ripper post Winger, loved reading it. I share your pain about the kebab. They are tight arses over here. You go to Melbourne or Adelaide and buy a kebab you struggle to eat the whole thing. Over here they aren’t much thicker than a Chiko roll. You were lucky they piled on the lettuce.

There’s a kebab shop in Malaga Markets right next to the bar. It used to be one of the best kebabs in Perth. Not anymore it changed hands and the new owner is stingy on the meat along with everything else.

I ordered double meat and thought fk you must be kidding I’d hate to see a standard kebab. And most of them cook the shit out of the lamb on the hot plate and dice it into mince meat.

I found a good one the other week in High Wycombe on Kalamunda Rd where the Coles shopping centre is. Can highly recommend that one and Hay st East Perth in the little arcade next to the old Carlton Hotel. Very good those guys always busy.

Last time I went down to Centrelink Park I bought a burger and to my surprise it had a patty, slice of cheese, some onion and that was it. I asked the lady what happened to the salad or at least some tomato and a bit of lettuce and she said they weren't allowed to. Last time I fall for that when you consider Topolini's at Subi home games do continental rolls, burgers with the works, dogs and anything else you can think of. The Chunder catering for supporters is pretty ordinary for mine.

That's Newroz, run by Kurdish Turks, who make the best kebabs in Perth hands down. Open at 9am for diehards like me but also perfect after 50 pints and a fight next door at The Carlton.

Peters by the Sea, others come and go but Peters is the same as it was when I was wagging it in the 60's

The West reported
1251 at Shark Park  EF v C
1500 at Peel Perl v WP
1300 at Leederville EP v WC
1000 at Basso Swans v Subi
900 at Lathlain Perth v South

For all the banging on Perth and Swans do about our great crowds they have to do better than this. Amazed Peel v WP got a bigger crowd than us.

Maybe need a Kabab shop at the ground.

Anyway I hate the West Perth Falcons. Scabs

Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Yep the one in Malaga Markets goes by the same name, must have been a family link before but Newrz by name only now. They are no good but if you love a good feed of curry you can’t beat the Curry joint next door. And the free condiments on the side are brilliant.

It’s not the dero’s inside the Carlton you got to worry about, it’s the ones loitering outside.

Being the state wide TV game didn't help Su v SD but yes it is a little disappointing given claims that Swans have so many more supporters than everyone else who show up rain, hail, shine or ladder position.

Considering despite being the TV game it was at this stage the highest crowd of the round with 1478 of which Subi would have contributed the 78 of those at the absolute maximum maybe they have a good case!

SD vs SU- 1478
EF vs CL- 1251
PE vs SF- 1207
EP vs WC- 885
PT vs WP- ?

I am always bemused that some here still take the West guesstimate crowd numbers as gospel.
They are almost always a mile off in their guesstimate figure and for some reason always well under the final official number.
The bloke at the SD vs SU game would have been watching on TV from Belmont Park as he is the West's racing reporter!
